I was born in London where I studied Fine Art at Sir John Cass, specialising in painting and printmaking. I graduated (BA Hons) in 2001. After living in France for many years, I have returned to England and settled in St. Leonards on Sea.
In both landscape and urban settings, visible features conceal silent narratives. The facade of a building hides the stories of those who have lived within its walls and every pathway, field or urban scene has a hidden undercurrent. In my work, I try to evoke that sense of concealment, suggesting that what lies beneath the final layer of paint may be key to those stories.
